Logging Work (Step-by-Step)
Complete guide to documenting your regenerative work using Green Goods' MDR workflow.
Prerequisites
β Signed up with passkey (Gardener Quickstart)
β Joined at least one garden
β Completed some regenerative work
β Have your smartphone ready
Step 1: Capture Media
Before Starting Work
Take "Before" Photo πΈ
Open Green Goods app on your phone
Navigate to the action you'll complete
Tap "Start Work"
Take photo showing initial state
Tips:
Show the full area you'll work on
Include landmarks for context
Use good lighting (avoid shadows)
Landscape orientation usually works best
Example: Before photo showing overgrown area
After Completing Work
Take "After" Photo πΈ
Same location as "before" photo
Same angle and framing
Show the change you made
Include any harvest/collection (litter bags, etc.)
Tips:
Match the before photo angle exactly
Step back to show full context
Capture evidence of work done
Include yourself or tools for scale (optional)
Example: After photo showing cleared area
Optional: Detail Photos

When to add:
Complex or technical work
Want to highlight specific aspects

Step 2: Fill Details
Open the Submission Form
Tap "Submit Work" from home or garden view
Or continue from "Start Work" flow
Required Fields

Tap the dropdown and choose which action you completed:
Actions are pre-defined by garden operators
Read the description to confirm match
Each action has specific metrics
Title (Auto-Generated)
Leave blank to use action title, or customize:
Brief description of what you did
Example: "Planted 15 oak trees in north section"
Keep it under 100 characters

For Tree Planting:
Number of trees: 15
Species: Quercus agrifolia
Area covered: 300 sqm
For Litter Cleanup:
Bags collected: 4
Area covered: 500 sqm
Type of waste: Plastic, paper, metal
For Monitoring:
Species count: 12
Individuals observed: 47
Time spent: 2 hours
Tips:
Count carefully (don't estimate)
Use consistent units
Be honest about quantities
Note unusual conditions
