Donate to a Garden

What this helps you do​

Donate directly to a garden through its Cookie Jar. This is direct support for verified regenerative work; it is not an endowment and does not create a withdrawable vault position.

Donate and Endow support the garden directly. They are not tax-deductible, charitable, or nonprofit-backed unless the garden has separately configured that outside Green Goods.

Before you start​

  • A wallet or passkey account.
  • A supported token balance for the Cookie Jar you want to fund.
  • A little Arbitrum gas if you are using an external wallet. Passkey or smart-account actions may be sponsored when that support is configured.
  • The garden you want to support.
  • A live internet connection.
tip

If the garden does not have an active Cookie Jar, the donation dialog tells you. You can pick another garden or ask the operator whether direct donations are enabled.

Step-by-step flow​

Step 1: Open the public Fund page​

  1. Open /fund.
  2. Browse the garden list or open a shared fund link.
  3. Click Support this Garden on the garden you want to support.

Step 2: Choose Donate​

  1. In the support dialog, choose Donate.
  2. Choose Wallet. If you are not connected yet, the app opens the wallet modal first.
  3. Card payment options stay hidden unless the payment provider is live for that exact garden and destination.
  1. The Cookie Jar dialog opens.
  2. Pick the Cookie Jar if the garden has more than one.
  3. Enter the amount.
  4. Check the wallet balance and any minimum deposit message.
  5. Click Deposit and sign the transaction.
  6. Wait for confirmation before closing the flow.

How to know it worked​

  • The dialog closes after the transaction succeeds.
  • The donation transaction appears in your wallet history on Arbitrum.
  • The garden's Cookie Jar balance updates after the app refreshes and indexing catches up.

If something goes wrong​

  • Connect wallet prompt appears. Connect the wallet or passkey account you want to use, then continue.
  • No active Cookie Jar. The garden cannot accept direct donations through this flow yet.
  • Minimum deposit warning. Increase the amount or choose a different Cookie Jar.
  • Invalid decimal input. Match the token's decimal precision.
  • Transaction cancelled. Nothing was donated. Try again when ready.
  • Transaction failed. Check the wallet error, token balance, chain, and Arbitrum gas.
  • Still stuck. Use the Green Goods Telegram support link in the docs footer.
