License

Green Goods is open source under the MIT License, one of the most permissive licenses there is. In practice, you may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell copies of the source, in commercial or private projects, on two conditions: include the copyright and permission notice in all copies or substantial portions of the software, and accept that it comes as-is, with no warranty.

The canonical text lives at LICENSE in the repository root: copyright 2024 to 2026, Greenpill Dev Guild.

A few practical notes for builders:

  • Forking and building on Green Goods is encouraged. The architecture is deliberately composable, and the design principles treat community capability as the deliverable.
  • The license covers this repository's code. Integrated protocols carry their own licenses (linked from each integration page), and deployed contract instances, live services, and the Green Goods name are operational matters rather than license grants.
